An exciting opportunity in Barcelona with significant international impact awaits you in our Sales Team at our Barcelona location. Our Managing Director Sergi Vieta is looking for you to join his team as:
Junior Manager Sales (m/f/d) - Barcelona
Full-time - Barcelona based
This role within our Spanish Partnership Sales Team will be responsible for the successful delivery of domestic brokerage deals with Spanish rights-holders, executing sales campaigns in Spain for our global rights-holder clients and ultimately, for expanding our corporate contact network to grow, both, our overall partnership revenues in Spain and core markets.
YOUR ROLE AT A GLANCE
- Develop strong relationships with prospective new clients via all possible customer touchpoints including phone, E-Mail, Linkedin, networking events and meetings
- Display a thorough understanding of SPORTFIVE's products and services, and work to a coordinated sales plan to achieve divisional budget targets and strategic objectives
- Lead sales pitches with domestic clients to understand objectives, build relationships and secure revenue for the business
- Identify, classify and communicate the different types of available assets and open categories that the right-holders in Spain can offer to brands, keeping this availability updated in real time
- Continually develop prospect lists by using macro and micro market trends, sound product knowledge and deep understanding of brand marketing to identify relevant clients, industries and geographies
- Prepare sales presentations using consumer insights, media value reporting, and additional proprietary methodologies to help build compelling business cases
- Provide weekly and regular updates at team sales meetings showcasing activity and pipeline development, business closed and share any insight for potential collaboration with other Sales Team members
- Work with SPORTFIVE's territories sales and global rights-holder management teams to understand rights portfolio, availability, pricing, and other relevant data to support sales process
- Ensure strong after-sales relationship management where necessary to enhance renewal probability and identify cross-sales/upselling potential
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 1-3 years of professional experience in sales and/or marketing, ideally in a comparable role
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships
- High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work both autonomously and results-oriented
- Demonstrated ability to succeed in a dynamic and target-driven environment
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
- Strong team player mentality with a willingness to collaborate effectively
- Demonstrated competency in sales management systems (e.g., Salesforce) and diligent compliance with all relevant internal reporting procedures
