 Manager Hospitality Sales (m/f/d) Barcelona 

Full-time - Barcelona based

 

Join SPORTFIVE Iberia's Hospitality Sales Team and become part of a team driving revenue for some of the most thrilling sports events, including Formula 1 Experiences. You'll gain unparalleled exposure working with leading sports brands and organizations, while directly contributing to a significant growth initiative for SPORTFIVE. This role offers the chance to shape our go-to-market strategy and execute sales plans for a division with a 7-figure budget responsibility in the Iberian market.

 

YOUR ROLE AT A GLANCE

  • Contribute to the Spain go-to-market sales plan for F1 Experiences hospitality program in order to achieve the divisional revenue target
  • Liaise with the central hospitality team to ensure strategic alignment across the project
  • Alongside the Spanish Sales Director, manage the full end-to-end sales process; including prospecting, client presentations and meetings, commercial negotiations and contractual finalization
  • Build relationships with relevant Spanish and international rightsholders to access their hospitality inventory available to our existing clients or prospects and, if applicable, together with Iberian Sales Director, explore meaningful collaborations and hospitality sales partnerships
  • Contribute to the development of a local marketing plan to support the sales effort
  • Work with our graphic designers and data specialists to ensure sales collateral is of a best-in-class standard and locally appropriate
  • Work with our internal VIP Travel team to upsell clients with high-end travel and event services for F1 GPs and other prime sports events
  • Provide weekly updates at team sales meetings showcasing activity and pipeline development, business closed, as well as fulfil internal reporting requirements for Iberian Sales Director and Leadership Team
  • Work successfully with other sales managers and reps to leverage existing brand relationships and cross-team sales opportunities
  • Actively participate in the collection of unpaid bills from clients, in conjunction with the accounting department, and settle any customer disputes appropriately
  • Work with the Iberian Sales Director, as well as the Strategy and Business Development team to new hospitality growth opportunities and work with Strategy and Business Development teams to evaluate the commercial potential and present recommendations to the Senior Management Board

  • Consistent achievement of individual sales success, consistently hitting monthly revenue targets and all personal KPIs
  • A strong track record in hospitality sales
  • Exceptional sales acumen coupled with outstanding interpersonal skills, enabling you to build and maintain strong relationships with brands, rights-holders, and colleagues
  • A high work ethic and the proven ability to thrive in a high-pressure, target-driven environment
  • Strong self-motivation and the capacity to work autonomously, while also being a collaborative and effective team player
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills that enable you to articulate value and secure partnerships
