 Senior Manager International Sales (m/f/d) Department VfB Stuttgart

YOUR ROLE AT A GLANCE

 

  • Sales & Business Development: Proactively acquire new international clients for VfB Stuttgart in key target markets like Japan, India, China, USA, Brazil and drive the expansion of SPORTFIVE’s international sales activities
  • Negotiation & Deal Closing: Lead high-level contract negotiations and independently manage the entire process through to signature
  • Strategic Consulting: Design creative and impactful sponsorship and activation concepts in collaboration with the SPORTFIVE global network
  • Networking & Relationship Management: Represent SPORTFIVE at international industry events and partner networking formats – including approx. 8–10 travel days per year and presence at selected VfB Stuttgart matchdays to build and strengthen key relationships
  • Market Analysis & Opportunity Scouting: Continuously observe international markets to identify new business opportunities and potential partnerships

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

 

  • Strong track record in international sales, ideally within sports business, sponsorship, media or consulting
  • Proven success in acquiring and managing international clients, with confidence in engaging executive-level stakeholders
  • Excellent German and English language skills (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 8–10 days per year) and flexibility to attend matchdays, networking events and industry meetings
  • Excellent communication and intercultural skills, combined with a solution-driven approach to developing tailored strategies for international partners
