 Senior Manager Global KIT Partnerships (m/f/d) 

Full-time | Part-time | Job-sharing

 

As the leading international agency in the field of kit supplier management, we are the top experts in sports performance apparel (kit) sponsorships globally. We provide brands and clubs/federations with the highest market insights and quality contact structures to generate maximum value for both. Using our deep knowledge of the apparel industry and exception market insight, we are trusted by all parties to broker kit deals within our global network.

 

YOUR ROLE AT A GLANCE

  • Support, manage and coordinate the existing SPORTFIVE portfolio, assisting through the whole process and ensuring the signing of the best possible kit contract & brand.
  • Identify and secure new kit mandates from clubs and federations, with focus on Germany and Europe mainly in football but also other sports such as rugby, handball, basketball and Olympic sports.
  • Develop, engage and manage strong day-to-day relationships to selected sporting apparel brands
  • Assist kit tender processes and contract negotiations
  • Represent our company and continuously expanding your personal network with rights-holders and knowledge of the sporting goods industry
  • Brand consulting, brand analysis and portfolio optimization to identify the right asset at the right time

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • University degree e.g. in sports management / economics / marketing is required
  • 5-8 years years’ experience, ideally in the sports industry – either on club, agency or  sporting goods side
  • A holistic understanding of the sports apparel landscape and athlete apparel deals
  • Know-how of the performance-apparel (kit) landscape and/or branded merchandise business on rightsholder (club/federation) side preferable
  • A proven track record in client acquisition and strong negotiation skills.
  • Experience in communicating with C-level executives and decision-makers
  • Huge passion for sport and the ability to drive ideas forward and put them into practice quickly, as part of a great team
  • An intrinsic desire and a strong motivation to learn new things and to keep developing
  • Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel, including internationally
