Team and Job Overview

We are seeking a Communications and PR manager to join SPORTFIVE in the US! This role will initially be oriented to SPORTFIVE US’s Golf and Brand Solutions divisions to assist in creating external communications, such as press releases and enhancing social media presence. Additionally, this role will have the opportunity to integrate with SPORTFIVE’s other business units domestically and globally on Marketing and Communications topics.

 

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Write and publish content that educates an external audience about our business while attracting potential client, enables us to generate data insights on website visitors and facilitates newsletter subscriptions.
  • Create and publish scientific studies / whitepapers.
  • Support in the creation and distribution of corporate press releases to special interest magazines.
  • Support in preparing briefing documents for executives/experts to speak to business media
  • Write and publish internal communication updates and newsletters.
  • Collaborate with Global Marketing and Communications team to create and publish social media content.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in an external communications role
  • Golf and/or sports acumen demonstrated by some professional experience in sports or adjacent industry is a must

 

Competitive Qualifications

  • Relationships with mainstream sports media outlets

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple on-site projects.

Job Requirements

  • Essential duties are performed onsite at the New York, NY OR Scottsdale, AZ office.
  • Must be flexible to work longer hours during tournament and other events as required.
  • Domestic overnight travel 0-10%.

Compensation
Salary Range: $65,000 - $87,000

SPORTFIVE is providing the compensation range it might pay for this position. The rate of pay offered will be dependent on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and geographic location.
