Event: ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic
Reports to: Sales Director 
Location: Dunes Golf and Beach Club - Myrtle Beach, SC
Start Date: April 25, 2026 
End Date: May 15, 2026 
Compensation: Position is paid and also available for course credit 
 

Overview 

The SPORTFIVE Golf Events Division provides management and consulting services to over 30 professional events. SPORTFIVE is looking for an Operations Intern for the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic. The ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic is a PGA TOUR event hosted at Dunes Golf and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, SC the week of May 4-10, 2026. This position is responsible for assisting in all areas of event operations and will work under the guidance of the Operations Team and Tournament Staff to assist with various events, projects, and tasks. Interns will have the opportunity to gain comprehensive knowledge and hands-on-experience in the fast-paced world of sports and live events. 

Job Duties:

• Support tournament staff, PGA TOUR officials, vendors, and volunteers with the physical preparation of the golf course, tournament site, and off-site areas
• Temporary office setup, on-course construction, signage planning, parking, transportation logistics, and concert set-up and tear-down
• Track and inventory tournament assets such as golf carts, radios, signage, and other supplies
• Assist with special events including Wednesday Pro-Am
• Admissions, Hospitality and Volunteer Tent support
• Assist with parking lot management
• Disbursement of daily pairings sheets
• Help with load-in and load-out of multiple vendor partners
• General clean-up and preparation of tournament hospitality areas
• Preparation and support of PGA Tour player sensitive areas

Additional Details: 

• Staff meals and uniform shirts will be provided during tournament week
• Interns must provide their own housing and transportation
• Must be available to work 12+ hours per day during tournament week (May 4-10)
• Must be available all days May 3-11, 2026. Special exceptions will be handled on a case by case basis.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
