Job Title: VP, Brand Solutions (Global Sports Marketing & Customer Experience)

Team and Job Overview
The VP in this role is one of the foremost experts at SPORTFIVE in global sports event strategy, planning, activation and execution in the Olympics/Paralympics, World Cup, Golf and Motorsports. The ideal candidate has a depth of experience in at least one of these disciplines, and at least some experience across all four. This role serves as one of SPORTFIVE’s senior subject matter experts on developing program strategy for elite customer experiences at the world’s biggest sporting events, with an initial focus on the Olympic & Paralympic Games at LA 2028. Client program ownership, relationship building, partnership development, and team leadership are all part of the core fundamentals of this role.
Essential Job Responsibilities:

Program Strategy & Design: Lead clients in designing the “art of possible” in leveraging partnerships to meet desired objectives and ROI targets. Create integrated guest experience/hospitality/ticket/accommodations/transportation strategy for LA 2028.

Client Leadership at an Executive Level: Own client relationships at the highest level, with accountability for client deliverables and responsibility for the agency’s overall standing in the eyes of the client, with the goal of long-term client value creation.

Partnership Roadmap Ownership: Architect and operationalize a multi-year roadmap across all phases of the Olympic cycle—from initial foundation and contract negotiations to Games-time activation.

Stakeholder Integration: Leadership role across internal and external stakeholders; responsible for relationships at the highest levels needed with clients, partners, integrated agency teams, and industry stakeholders.

Strategic foresight and ROI accountability: Proactively identifying risks and opportunities across the Olympic cycle, ensuring client investments are structured to deliver measurable returns.

Resource & Budget Governance: Develop and oversee multi-million dollar budgets, identifying cross-functional risks and efficiencies while managing procurement, vendor, and partner relationships.

Industry Relationship Management: Develop ongoing day-to-day trusted relationships with LA 2028 partnership marketing and functional area leads in service of client program delivery

Program Activation & Execution: Overseeing client hosting and execution of premium hospitality and guest experience programs across multiple event disciplines (Olympics/Golf/Football/Motorsports)
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in related field

15+ years of experience in global sports event strategy, planning and execution, at least 10+ years working with one or more Fortune 100 brands (either with an agency or for the brand)

Demonstrated experience across all four listed sports disciplines (Olympics, Golf, World Cup, Motorsports) and ability to identify which of the four is a specialty (defined by multiple event executions within that discipline).

Experience presenting to and conversing informally with C-Level executives and/or high-profile talent/celebrities

Depth of experience in managing complex contract negotiations and vendor management

Deep understanding of Olympic & Paralympic Movement regulations, values and protocol.

10+ years managing and accountable for 7+ figure budgets on behalf of clients

10+ years managing senior level clients and teams with direct reports.

Established network in global sports and events, as defined by existing relationships with one or more global sports properties, such as the IOC, FIFA, PGA Tour, Formula 1 etc.
Job Requirements

Must be able travel approximately 25% of the time (average monthly) for client and/or property meetings for planning purposes.

Must be available to work outside of standard business hours during major events and/or priority client projects.

Must have reliable transportation.
