Overview of Position
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Executive to support the day-to-day HR operations for Singapore and provide administrative support across APAC HR matters where required.
This role will support employee lifecycle administration, payroll coordination, HR documentation, onboarding and offboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, recruitment coordination and employee engagement activities. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, organised, service-oriented and comfortable working in a lean regional HR setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, employee documentation, HR letters, contract administration and employee records management.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR data is properly updated in HR systems, payroll records and personnel files.
- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs for Singapore, including new hires, leavers, salary changes, leave records, claims, deductions and other payroll-related updates.
- Liaise with payroll vendors and internal Finance team to ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time.
- Support statutory and compliance matters including CPF, MOM-related submissions, IR8A/IR21 coordination, work pass administration and other employment-related documentation where required.
- Act as the first point of contact for general employee queries relating to HR policies, leave, benefits, claims, payroll and onboarding/offboarding processes.
- Support recruitment coordination, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, reference checks, offer documentation and onboarding preparation.
- Assist with benefits administration including medical insurance, claims, wellness subsidy, employee records and vendor coordination.
- Support employee engagement activities, office events, staff welfare initiatives and internal communications.
- Assist with HR reporting, audits, policy documentation and HR process improvement projects.
- Provide administrative support to the Regional HR Director, APAC on regional HR initiatives, HR documentation and ad hoc projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, filing, tracking and reporting efficiency.
Qualification / Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1–3 years of HR operations / HR administration experience.
- Experience in payroll coordination, employee records, onboarding/offboarding and HR documentation will be advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of Singapore employment practices, CPF, MOM requirements and work pass processes is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Good attention to detail, follow-through and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work independently, multitask and support a fast-paced regional HR environment.
- Positive, hands-on and service-oriented attitude.
Preferred Profile
· Prior experience in a lean HR team or regional environment.
· Comfortable with both operational HR work and employee-facing support.
· Willing to work onsite and support office-based HR activities.
· Interest in HR process improvement, HR systems and employee experience.
